Christopher Pegeron
Division Director of IDD Services and Supports
Christopher O. Pegeron is an accomplished nonprofit executive with over a decade of leadership experience in the intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) sector.
As Division Director of Creative Change Counseling IDD Services, he leads the agency’s growing network of adult and youth programs, including ABA therapy, after-school respite, supported employment, community-based supports, and day habilitation services throughout New Jersey.
Chris previously served as President and CEO of Partnerships for People, Inc., where he managed a multi-million dollar budget and oversaw more than 100 staff across statewide residential, employment, and day programs. His leadership during a transformative period guided the organization’s shift to a fee-for-service model, implementation of electronic health records, expansion of Medicaid-funded services, and development of DEI initiatives.
He has also held key roles in operations and clinical services, combining strategic insight with frontline experience.
Chris holds a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Kean University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a former board member of the New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP) and an active advocate for inclusive, tech-forward solutions in IDD care.
A lifelong learner and dedicated father of four, Chris is passionate about helping individuals of all abilities thrive through meaningful opportunities, purposeful support, and compassionate leadership.
