I pride myself on utilizing a holistic, person-centered approach to empower my clients as they learn how to identify, process, and cope with various behavioral and mental health needs. I incorporate both CBT and DBT approaches to ensure a strength-based environment, where the client feels safe, heard and seen, through the use of different mindfulness techniques paired with age-appropriate psychoeducation. I have found that utilization of these evidence-based practice modalities provides an opportunity for the client to feel comfortable exploring and expressing their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, while working to reach healing goals as outlined in their treatment plan.

Previous clients have stated that they enjoy my “laid-back, judgement-free” counseling approach. I am mindful in making sure to meet each individual client and/or family member where they are at, in order to provide them with the most beneficial therapeutic relationship. I enjoy creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and understand that their feelings matter and are being heard!
